Ancelotti's Early Years
Born on June 10, 1959, in Reggio Calabria, Italy, Carlo Ancelotti began his playing career at the tender age of 17 with AC Milan. A talented midfielder, he went on to play for several clubs, including AS Roma and Parma, before hanging up his boots in 1997.
The Managerial Journey Begins
Ancelotti's managerial journey started in 1995 when he took the reins at Reggina Calcio, a struggling Serie B side. His success with the club caught the attention of Juventus FC, who appointed him as their manager in 1999. Over the next five years, Ancelotti led Juventus to unprecedented success, winning two Italian league titles and the 2003 UEFA Cup.
The Golden Years at Chelsea
In 2009, Ancelotti made the move to London, taking charge of Chelsea FC. During his three-year tenure, he guided the Blues to an incredible haul of silverware, including the Premier League title in 2010 and the FA Cup in 2012.
